Awodipe Adetutu, PMHNP, FNP, MPH
BOARD CERTIFIED IN PSYCHIATRY MENTAL HEALTH NURSING
Adetutu Awodipe grew up in Nigeria, West Africa until her late teenage years when she relocated to the United States to pursue a college degree. Adetutu has a BSc. in Biochemistry from the University of Maryland, Baltimore; before pursuing a Nursing degree and she graduated in 2010 with a BSN in Nursing from the University of Maryland Baltimore.
She practiced for about 4 years and continued to pursue a Master’s Degree in Public Health from Walden University in 2015 and a Master’s of Nursing with a Family Practice specialty in 2017.
Since graduating from Nurse Practitioner Training as an FNP, Adetutu has worked in primary care outpatient clinics, done house calls, and worked extensively with the geriatric population in Nursing Homes across Maryland.
Adetutu has continued to work and serve our veterans by doing compensation and pension exams for service connection, while also working with individuals dealing with substance abuse and addiction by offering Medication-Assisted Therapy.
Adetutu has extensive years of experience working with individuals dealing with mental health challenges, and with the underserved/impoverished communities as a Nurse and Nurse Practitioner. This passion fueled her interest and birthed a need to obtain a certificate degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Rivier University New Hampshire in 2019.
Adetutu is delighted and greatly honored to continually serve the community with her knowledge base, experience, and furthermore be an objective collaborator in your journey to both physical and mental wellness.
